That sounds expensive even for your island...if the store is like my local one, they had to clean out the unsold milk when it was a week past its expiration date!
It is expensive for our island. Milk has always hovered around $8.00/gallon since we moved here, so I had gotten used to the sticker shock, but seeing that $9.49 set off a whole new wave of sticker shock. LOL-I hadn't thought about them having to throw away all the expired stuff.

Mike-Bring lots-you could sell it for the bargain price of $7.00/gallon and make a fortune! All you have to do is sneak it past TSA in 3-oz. increments.

Wow. That's expensive. I'm glad I don't like milk. We are planning a trip there the summer next; we'll bring our own. :)
