Pink Quill (Tillandsia cyanea)
Usually it is either just preparing to bloom or has just finished blooming when GBBD rolls around, but this year, I got it!
Next, as if it knew Christmas is right around the corner:
Bleeding Heart (Clerodendrum thomsonae)
The rest of this is probably going to be a little minimalistic since I have to run in less than 30 minutes to get to an appointment, and I'm still drinking my coffee and haven't showered yet. TMI? Sorry.
Shrimp plant (sorry, that's all I have right now)
Mexican Pointsettia (Euphorbia leucocephala)
I noticed several of these little guys on the Euphorbia this morning.
Bouganvillea
African Daisy (Osteospermum)
Scallion-I know this one's not quite blooming yet, but it looked so cute, I thought I should take its picture.
Sweet Alyssum
White spilder lily (Crinum asiaticum)-I almost missed this one today because at first I didn't see it hiding in this mess:
Can you see it? It's tucked away right in the middle.
Variegated Hau (Hibiscus tiliaceus) behind a red Euphorbia-that creamy yellow flower will turn a dusky burnt orange color and fall off the tree by the end of the day.
That's it for today, kids! I've got to run-need to leave in less than 10 minutes. Thanks for touring my garden with me. Please visit Carol at May Dreams Gardens to see what else is blooming today!

I love these posts, even though I don't typically comment on them. The African Daisy made me smile, which is always a good thing.
Beautiful pics. I love the Tillandsia (yay!) and also the shrimp plant, white spider plant and bouganvillea.
Great flowers! Love the spider lily! At some point I have grown most of those. My clerodendrum thomsonae barely gets by, now much sun is yours in?
wow, you do have some spectacular blooms to share. That pink quill though - with the pink and blue? WOW.
Your "TMI" made me giggle -- plus this isn't a sparse post! Most of us have nothing but snow to show off. It's great to see a little syrphid fly in the wintertime, too.
Kori-I'm glad I was able to make you smile! :)
Mac_fromAustralia-Thank you!
Houston Garden Girl-My clerodendrum probably gets 2-3 hours of sun a day, in the morning hours, but then it is under shade after that. It seems to stall out once it's bloomed though. I've found that it does really well after being cut back.
Wendy-I know, isn't that a great combination? I love it!
Eliza-I meant sparse as in not a lot of narrative, not a lack of plants. I guess I probably should have picked a different word, though, now that you mention it. ;) Thank you for providing a name for my fly-I had it somewhere in the back of my mind but I didn't have time to look it up.
Wow great, what a beautiful garden and they look healthy.
