The Best of the Best of American Science Writing (The Best American Science Writing)

Boy, for as much reading as I do, I don't feel like I'm making any progress at all here.  Here we are a quarter of the way through the 24-hour Read-a-Thon, and I've read a grand total of 72 pages.  At this rate it's going to take me until the next Read-a-Thon to get through all those books I so optimistically borrowed/bought/took off the shelf.  To be fair though, I was kind of slogging through the third and fourth installments in this book.  The fifth one seems to be back on track though-the author is talking to a plastic surgeon who would like to be able to outfit people with things like echolocation devices and wings.  I wonder if he's in talks with Lady Gaga yet.

But are you having fun with those 72 pages? Just stopped by to cheer you on and share a poem for the day.

If I could have one wish,
I know what I would say.
Just give me my books,
And let me read all day.

Happy Reading.

Morgot-Thanks for stopping by! Yes, I am having fun, and that's what counts. I think I may end up doing more blogging than reading in the end!
